About the Course
This series of four gatherings develops the interiority of heart consciousness and the intelligence of the heart. The work brings about the capacity to be in relation, in completely safe ways, with the natural world, and with others, in such a way that the spirit and soul qualities come to the fore. The intention of this course is to break through the circle of abstract intellect and binary-mental thinking, to be present with the world and with others in the fully human way of body, soul, and spirit.
The First Session
Develops the practices for entering the regions of the heart. First, the necessity of right alignment of the subtle bodies in relation with the physical body is practiced. Once within the heart, the new space/time of the heart is explored; how it is spherical rather than linear space; how time there works by simultaneity rather than linearity, and how, in the heart, effect is always present before the cause. How to be within heart-awareness in all of life’s circumstances is developed.
The Second Session
Concerns the practices needed to enter into being able to be in heart/soul relating with others, and entering into heart-presence with the Earth. How to enter into the Silence of the heart is a central practice, needed in order to quiet the habit of the mind of pre-knowing others
The Third Session
Developing practices to bring about the capacity to be within the world in heart-awareness and to release the propensity to use heart consciousness for the elevation of the ego, that is, using heart consciousness for one’s own purposes. The further entry into heart also involves developing the capacity of spiritual imagination and an accompanying spiritual and imaginal ardor of the heart.
The Fourth Session
Enters more deeply into the mystery of the Time and the Timing of the heart’s rhythms. Practices are developed for being in connection with others through the heart at a distance; the healing possibilities of this kind of connection, and how it is possible since heart-space is the fourth dimension of Time, instantaneous time. Contemplative practices for healing the now prevalent cultural split among head, heart, and action help bring one into the fullness of an incomplete incarnating process. The place of the utter stillness of the heart is initiated, opening the sense of one’s destiny.
