ABOUT THE COURSE
This course concerns developing the inner capacities of making connection with the sacredness of the body, of developing the ability to feel the body as being every moment in the process of coming into being through the activity of creating spiritual beings. The intent of the work is to foster the development of new capacities of sensing, perceiving, and knowing our bodies, to develop practices of self-healing, that is, wholeness of body, and to be a healing presence with others. Each session focuses on three central aspects of healing – spiritual knowledge, body-meditative practices, and practices of presence.
The following dimensions of practice will be incorporated:
The First Session
Works with characterizing the imaginal process of spirit healing; how it differs from psychic healing and other forms of healing. Practices for developing the capacity to be present to our multiple subtle bodies; alignment of the subtle bodies. Meditative practices for being in connection with the angelic presences who are the guardians and maintainers of the body. Introduction to the ancient mystery centers of healing; developing body-awareness. Foundations of the new sense of embodiment. Illness and story I.
Second Session
Developing body-attention and body-awareness; entering into the immediacy of body-feeling. Further imagining of the mystery centers of healing. Meditative work with the Templar mysteries of healing. Entering organ-awareness – the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys. Freeing the body from medicalization; homeopathic imagination and bodying. Illness and story II.
Third Session
The be-coming of the body; shifting from the body as a closed system to body as an intensification of spiritual forces. Integral healing. Entering into healing-awareness. Further work with the ancient mystery centers of healing. Further meditative work with the Templar mysteries of healing; the mystery of the blood; meditative work with the blood.
Fourth Session
The angelic hierarchies, the body, and healing. Meditative work with the charkas and the glands. The alchemical transformation processes of the body. The blood as the bearer of the individual spirit. Illness as the new self emerging. Working with imaginations of illness. Meditative practices for allowing the new self to emerge. Further work with Templar healing.
